Excursion Campers was born in August 2020 when I needed a camper for a cross-country road trip in the middle of the pandemic. I had just sold my cab over camper because it was too bulky and top heavy, and I wanted something that was fully capable yet efficient. I couldn’t find what I was looking for on the market, so I built it.<\/p>\n
My goal is to build campers that can do anything without sacrificing on comfort, fuel efficiency, or price point. So far, I’ve built 2 camper styles to fit a variety of needs. You can check them out on the Campers page.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Currently in progress is what I affectionately call “The Rig.” This will be our most luxe and heftiest build yet, and I can’t wait to travel and offroad in it. Check back in soon for progress updates.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Lastly, a bit about me: I’m Jarad, founder of Excursion Campers. Prior to building campers, I worked in various mechanical engineering roles. When I’m not building something, you can find me on a nearby mountain bike trail with my wife and dog. Hope to see you out there!\u00a0<\/p>\n
